Do you offer washer and dryer hook-ups?

Each of our homes offer hook-ups for a washer and dryer. You can use your own equipment, or you can rent a washer and dryer through us if we have any available.

What are the leasing office hours?

Monday – Friday: 9 AM to 6 PM
Saturday: 10 AM to 4 PM

What are the leasing requirements?

Our leasing requirements include a completed and approved rental application for all lessee(s) 18 years of age or older, an application fee of $45 per applicant, a security deposit of $199 with a credit score of 600+, or a full month's rent for lower credit scores, proof of income or financial means and an administrative fee of $150 per unit.

Is my pet welcome in the apartment?

Yes, with breed restrictions for dogs. Breed restrictions include breeds (and mixes of breeds) that are considered the top 10 most dangerous breeds as determined by the insurance commission. A non-refundable pet fee of $300 is required per pet. There is a limit of two pets per apartment.

Is there a waiting list I may join?

Yes, in the event that a certain floor plan or floor level is not available, you can be placed on our waiting list provided you complete an application and pay the non-refundable $45.00 application fee. You will not pay your admin fee or security deposit until you match with a unit. 

Where can Berkeley residents obtain utility services?

The residents of The Berkeley are responsible for power, water, sewer, cable/internet and phone.

• Cable, Phone and Internet is provided by Suddenlink Communications, 252-714-3313
• CenturyLink also provides Internet, 866-706-4722.

Can we select a home or is one assigned?

You can most certainly let your representative know which home style you are interested in. They will do their best to try and fit your needs and interests.

Is maintenance included?

Our dedicated maintenance team is on standby 24 hours a day / 7 days a week for your emergency situations.

Do you offer Short-Term Leases?

We offer a short-term lease option of 6 months during certain times of the year, for an additional fee of $125 per month, please contact us to inquire.
